Installation Tips

To run Snapp MX you will require the following:

1. Adobe's Flash Player version 10 or higher.
   
   
2. One of the following Java Application Servers with all patches applied:
   
   -  BEA WebLogic 8
   -  IBM Websphere 5
   -  Macromedia JRUN 4
   -  New Atlanta ServletExec 5 
   -  Sun Application Server 8
   -  Tomcat 5.x or higher
   
   Other servers may work but have not yet been tested.
   
   If you are using JRUN you will also need to install the Flash Remoting Updater from:  http://www.adobe.com/support/flash_remoting/updaters.html
   
   
3. One of the following database servers:
   
   -  IBM DB2 Universal Database 8 (or higher),
   -  Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (or higher),
   -  MySQL 5 (or higher),
   -  SQLite 3,
   -  Oracle 10g (or higher),
   -  Firebird 1.5 (or higher), and/or
   -  Sybase ASE 12 (or higher).
   
   Other databases may work but have not yet been tested.
   
   
4. The appropriate JDBC driver (Type 3 or higher) for the database server you will be using.
    
   -  DB2 Universal

5. A valid Snapp MX License Key.
